Andrea’s Foundation fills a gap in our community. We are the only organization in Ventura County providing direct grants to cancer patients. Because we are a small, nible, local organization, we act quickly; grant applicants can receive much-needed funds in as little as one week. Grants are used for a variety needs, including:

• Rent and Utility Bills
• Groceries
• Insurance co-pays
• Professional wigs so chemotherapy patients can continue working
• Lymphedema sleeves and custom bras
• Covering the cost of medication that is either not covered or not fully covered by insurance
• Bridging the gap between the time a person is unable to work and the time unemployment benefits are received
