I didn’t understand how I could have cancer—I’m only 36. But cancer doesn’t care about age, race, or gender. It can affect any one of us and our families. Having a strong support team makes all the difference, and thanks to AGSS Memorial Foundation, this journey has been just a little bit easier.

A friend of mine had colon cancer, and she received a grant to help with her utilities. It was summertime, and she was overwhelmed with medical bills and co-pays. The grant gave her the relief she needed during a difficult time.
