The AGSS Memorial Foundation was pleased to present gift cards to VCMC Oncology/Hematology Department patients. The AGSS board visited VCMC to deliver the gift cards good towards a Thanksgiving meal, in hopes of easing the patient’s journey as they fight a fierce battle with cancer. Many of the patients have limited resources and some have little family to support them during their battle.
Thank you so much AGSS for your generosity as I was one of the lucky ones to receive both a check and a Thanksgiving gift card from your amazing foundation during my long battle to be healthy again. I’m truly grateful that your team was there for me from the start during the darkest time in my life. Your caring gifts carried me through this endless marathon and allowed me to see a beautiful ray of light and hope for a bright future! This light arose from your hearts, your hard work, your dedication and honor to those who need support to survive really tough times. If I could, I would thank and hug each and every one of you and let you know what an incredible difference you’ve made in my life! Andrea must be so proud of you all.
